Benjamin Q. Ashwood

Ben finally got on Olde Town's stage in 'No Sex Please, We're British' after designing the lighting for 'Nunsense'; 'On Golden Pond' and 'Little Shop Of Horrors.' Benjamin was the Light/Sound Operator for our production of 'Lone Star Love Potion.' He wrote and directed 'Near Death Experience' at USF, and also performed there in 'Seussical The Musical'; 'Boy Gets Girl' and 'Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead.' He is an Assistant Stage Manager for Jeschke Fine Arts Center at the University of Sioux Falls. His family includes parents Paul and Ruth Ashwood, siblings Chris, Molly, Clara, Will, Lauren, Emily and Jeff, and nephew Paul Owen. Concerning his other interests, Ben says that inside his head is a nerd screaming to come out; outside is a nerd that can beat up the inside one - that's talent.
